Dr. Shehab Jabir
London Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon
Dr Shehab Jabir is a quintuple fellowship/board–certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He holds the unique distinction of being fellowship/board–certified by 5 different boards of plastic surgery. This includes UK, European and International board certifications. He has a special interest in Facial Plastic Surgery (face/neck-lift, rhinoplasty and blepharoplasty) as well as aesthetic surgery of the body and hand and wrist surgery.
Dr Jabir received his medical degree from St George’s University of London in 2011. He then undertook a 2-year foundation programme with a rotation in academic plastic surgery at the world–renowned St. Andrews Centre for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Chelmsford. During this time he published extensively and won several coveted national awards in Plastic surgery including the Hackett Memorial Prize for best aesthetic surgery paper and the BAPRAS-RSTN prize for best clinical trial proposal.
He then completed further specialist training within a GMC–recognised specialist plastic surgery training program at several institutions, including St. Andrews Centre for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. During training, he continued to publish extensively and win local, national and international awards for his research. He has also co-authored and contributed several book chapters on plastic and reconstructive surgery that have been published in well-known manuals in plastic surgery.
In 2021, he completed his plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery training and undertook specialist fellowship training in hand and wrist surgery at St Thomas’ Hospital, London. Following this he undertook a specialist fellowship in aesthetic surgery at Purity Bridge, Tunbridge Wells. Further to this Dr Jabirregularly travels abroad to pick up the latest tips and tricks in his chosen areas of interest, having travelled extensively throughout Europe, the USA, the Middle East and Asia. He also has a busy teaching and training schedule which involves the passage of this knowledge to current trainees in plastic surgery.
Dr Jabir has over 10 years of experience in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery and thousands of procedures to his name. He is a member of severalprofessional organisations including The British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS), The International Board for Facial Plastic Surgery (IBCFPRS), The European Board for Facial Plastic Surgery (EBCFPRS), The British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) and UK Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (UKAAPS-CAPSCO).
